My Day in Hospital Part 1

gonna write this article down when everything is still fresh in my mind
as u all noe
today im attending the program pendedahan kerjaya seorang doktor
(i wonder y there's no short form for this long phase)

i reached hospital seberang jaya at abt 9 in the morning
when i think i will be alone for the the whole week
i surprisingly saw ming yan, kerhyin, si yuan, shu hui, mei ling and xin ying sitting in front of me
we registered at the counter outside a room which we entered later and we were divided into 4 gropus
1 group consists of abt 7 ppl
i was one of the group 1
my group members are totally stranger to me but they are nice
they talked to me and they introduced themselves to me

a few ppl were not in proper attire
which means they wore jeans, t-shirt and so on
so they were told to change their clothes during the noon break
for those who will follow this program next year
you all are advised to wear like office lady (for girls)
no need to be long sleeves but there must be a collar

each group will b guided by a doctor in charge to diff departments
as for my group today we went to visit bilik pakar (specialist) and unit kecemasan



this is the pass they've given to me
put this on ur shirt and they will lead us to the department
(its lik a free tour to the hospital haha)

of course, skirt kenot b dat short larh XD

there are a total of five specialist rooms in the hospital
first room is the pediatric room for the children
we were taught the differences between the echo cardiography and eletron cardiogram (ECG)
they showed us the "stress test" room too
second room is the orthopedic room (if not spelled mistakenly)
we were shown the plaster of Paris and were lucky enough to witness the off cast process
third room is obstetrics and gynecology
nothing special there
its all abt pregnant women
fourth room is abt respiratory disease
we were awared of the tuberculosis which transmit through the air (airbourne)
fifth room is abt dental and oral
there were no patients at the time we went in
the dentists were chit-chatting in the room swt

after dat it was the break time
we went to the canteen fer lunch
walao most of their dishes were curry
i picked vegetables instead of the curry
looked lik im a vegetarian haha

there was a baby inside the "container"
he/ she is cute! i like babies!

after we were given a small speech, we were brought to the kecemasan department
unit kecemasan is divided into 3 zone
zone merah for the patients in danger and muz b treated immediately
zone kuning for separa tenat eg fracture patients
zone hijau for "pengacau" haha which means oni minor case but still cum and kacau-kacau

there are many young doctors which are under housemanship
their skills r... en hem... u all noe lar
at the time we went in the bilik rawatan located inside the emergency department
a young doctor was going to give a lady an injection
i duno wat happen to the young doctor
was he nervous or wat ?
everything was fine when the needle was injected inside the blood vessel of the lady's left hand
but somehow the tip of the needle penetrate out and the blood spurted out!!
oh my gosh
i think the lady is very pain!
the young doctor immediately get a cotton wool and pressed it on the wound to stop the blood flow
the other young doctor came and he tried on the right hand
he tapped gently some antiseptic on the hand
the professional and experienced doctor who leaded us ask him " sudah bolehkah? "
the young doctor answered " erm agaknya boleh "
walao apa tu agaknya boleh?! semua agak agak pun boleh jadi doktor ar
kesiannya pesakit itu~~

btw its fun to be in the hospital
